Former Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia (RA) Aghvan Hovsepyan today by a presidential decree was appointed head of the RA Investigative Committee.
News of his appointment was circulated since last September, when Hovsepyan was dismissed from his position and appointed head of a commission responsible for the legal aspects of forming a joint investigative body.
After Hovsepyan was appointed to his new position, Epress.am turned its attention to Hovsepyan's activities in an article published on September 25, 2013 [available in Armenian only].
