Two Soldiers Dead from Azerbaijani Attack, Report Karabakh Defense Authorities

The "enemy" launched an attack on July 31 in the direction of the combat position of one of the military units stations in the northern direction of the line of contact of Karabakh-Azerbaijan troops, reports [AM] the website of the Ministry of Defense of the self-proclaimed Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. 

According to the official statement, facing resistance, the opponent, suffering several loses, was driven back to its original positions.

The Karabakh defense authorities report two casualties from the Karabakh Defense Army. The names of the soldiers were not disclosed. 

Note, on July 26, military conscript Khachatur Badasyan, 20, was killed in Karabakh. The Karabakh authorities reported [AM] that the young man was fatally wounded after participating in actions to prevent a sabotage and penetration attempt from the Azerbaijani side.
