Armenia’s Ministry of Defense Press Spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan commented on a video released by the Azerbaijani media, revealing the shooting down of a NKR Defense Army helicopter by Azerbaijani forces.
On his Facebook page, Hovhannisyan wrote that “the video released by the Azerbaijani side additionally confirms that Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry’s statement was fiction. The video, once again, factually proves that the NKR Air Force’s helicopters did not violate the border and did not attack any position. According to protocol, during attacks or even after attacks, returning aircrafts use other air tactics and technical measures.”
The press spokesperson cited the NKR Defense Army, writing that “the enemy is continuing to keep a tense situation on the border, which makes it impossibility to approach the downed helicopter.”
