On January 15, early this morning, a fire occurred in a nursing home in Gyumri and was put out by local efforts, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 7:07AM.
According to the Ministry’s statement, a blanket fell on an electric heater in one of the nursing home rooms, catching on fire. The residents of the room, 61-year old A. O. (had burns on the right arm) and 80-year old H. A, died of smoke inhalation.
