Version of Permyakov Not Being Alone Is Being Studied, Says Deputy Police Chief

The preliminary investigation is not ruling out that the suspect in the murder of 7 members of the Avetisyan family Valery Permyakov may have not been alone, said Armenian Deputy Police Chief Hunan Poghosyan today during a press conference.

According to him, all the versions that have been put forward are being checked and studied.

“Armenian and Russian law enforcements are working, and everything will be clear after the preliminary investigation is finished,” said Poghosyan.

He denied the information that six other soldiers had also escaped from the Russian military base on the day of the incident. Commenting on the information according to which Permyakov had been found by Armenian police and handed over to Russian border guards, Poghosyan said, “That's not true.”
