19-year-old soldier Artur Arakelyan was killed in an accident in a military unit deployed in the eastern direction of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, the NKR Ministry of Defense said in an official statement issued on Friday, April 10.
No further details about the incident were revealed by the authorities.
Note, on Tuesday, April 7, 20-year-old soldier Levon Mirzoyan died of a gunshot wound as a result of a fire from the Azerbaijani side in the NKR Defense Army, while another serviceman, Hayk Keshishoghlyan, 42, died in a military unit deployed in the northeastern direction of the republic on the night of April 3.
