Resident of the village of Geghadir in the Armenian Aragatsotn province, Gevorg Galoyan, 55, fatally stabbed his wife, Gayane Grigoryan, 52, on Tuesday evening while she was asleep, the press service of the RA Police reported on Wednesday, August 26.
The woman, officials said, was stabbed in the chest and died on the way to the hospital.
Gevorg Galoyan has been arrested; a criminal investigation has been launched on charges of murder.
