Armenian Prisoners to Start Joint Hunger Strike: Press

Prisoners in “Nubarashen” penitentiary serving life sentences have decided to jointly start a hunger strike on September 15, Armenian “Hraparak” daily writes citing own sources.

The prisoners, as reported by the paper, got tired of waiting for when authorities will review their applications, and there would be some changes in their condition: “For example, early release for prisoners who have already served more than 20 years [of a life sentence].”
