A group of parents of soldiers who died in the Armenian army in non-combat conditions have been staging weekly protests for years in front of the RA Presidential Palace, the National Assembly and RA Government buildings demanding that authorities' conduct fair and thorough investigations to discover the real circumstances of their sons' deaths and to ensure the prosecution and punishment of perpetrators.
Nana Muradyan, one of the dead soldiers' mothers, said at a press conference Wednesday that she has already lost all hope but couldn't “just sit at home” with her son's killer still on the loose. Despite authorities' efforts to deadlock the investigation, the other parents said, they are still willing to continue to fight.
