Armenian Soldier Dies in ‘Unknown’ Circumstances

Armenian contract serviceman Robert Abrahamyan, 23, died from a gunshot wound at around 2:15 am Sunday on the combat positions of a military unit of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, the Armenian Investigative Committee reported Monday.

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident, authorities said without further elaboration.
