On April 20, under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Azerbaijan handed over to the Armenian side the body of Captain Argishti Gaboyan who was killed in action in the latest escalation of hostilities between Azerbaijani and Armenian armed forces in Nagorno-Karabakh. The handover took place near the Bash Karvend settlement.
Captain Gaboyan had suffered a fatal gunshot wound; the soldier's body has already been identified by his relatives.
