20-Year-Old Conscript Fatally Shot in Karabakh ‘Under Unknown Circumstances’

Harutyun V Khachatryan, a 20-year-old conscript soldier of Nagorno-Karabakh’s defense army, was fatally shot at around 1:15 am on January 16 in the combat position of a northern military unit. According to a statement issued by the press service of the NKR defense ministry, the incident occurred “under still unknown circumstances.”

Officials have yet to release any further information.
