Two more military servicemen are reported dead due to the escalated combat on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border near Tavush region. The Ministry of Defense reports the names of Junior Sergeants Smbat Gabrielyan and Grisha Matevosyan.
Earlier the MoD had reported of high ranking officers Hambardzumyan and Elbakyan.
The situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush region escalated on July 12. The two sides blame each other for violating the ceasefire and escalating the war. Since July 13, civilian settlements have been under shelling on both sides. Armenia reports of Chinar, Aygepar and Berd communities, while Azerbaijan reports of Dondar Gushchu, Alibeyli and Aghdam villages being under artillery fire. There are casualties: Azerbaijan reports of 12 military and 1 civilian casualty, Armenia reports of 4 military casualties.
