At around 4 pm on Sunday, officers of Armenia’s National Security Service went to the apartment of "Daredevils of Sasun" member Ashot Petrosyan’s daughter, Tatevik Petrosyan, with a warrant to detain her, a statement issued by Founding Parliament anti-government movement said, without further elaboration.
Another relative of a member of the armed group occupying a Yerevan headquarters since last Sunday was detained on July 21, Hetq.am reports; Arayik Khandoyan’s brother, Ararat Khandoyan, was detained from a café in downtown Yerevan.
According to another report by Aravot.am, the Khandoyan brothers’ mother, Mrs. Rima, was, in turn, intimidated by police officers who told her that her son Arayik would be put behind bars for life, while Ararat would be given a 10-year prison sentence.
Founding Parliament also reported earlier today that electricity and communication had been cut off on the territory of the seized police headquarters. Moreover,a Facebook statement said, attempts had been made by law enforcement officers to storm the station.
