Taking as his basis Article 81 Section 1 Point 1 of Armenia’s Constitution and Article 90 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, RA President Serzh Sargsyan today appealed to the RA National Assembly on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia with the proposal of announcing an amnesty, according to the president’s press office.
