Epress.am has been informed that Murad Bojolyan will be released from Yerevan – Kentron (“Center”) penitentiary at 2 pm today. He is the last person considered to be a political prisoner by the Armenian National Congress to be released from prison.
Bojolyan will be released as he has served his sentence in full.
Recall, Bojolyan was accused under then RA Criminal Code Article 59 (“imprisonment for a certain term”), reporting to foreign organizations information about state, military or other secrets (treason).
Update: Bojolyan was indeed released just past 2 pm today.
