Armenians to be Tried for Threatening St. Petersburg Judge

A St. Petersburg court has launched criminal proceedings against Armenian nationals Artak Harutyunyan and Aram Rafaelyan, who are being accused of threatening to murder the judge, reports fontanka.ru, citing the press service of the city’s prosecutor’s office.

The preliminary investigation revealed that on Mar. 14 of this year, Harutyunyan and Rafaelyan, while in the municipality courtroom, threatened to murder the judge. Reportedly, the reason for the threats was a guilty verdict for a relative of theirs who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempted double murder.
