Yerevan’s Congress Hotel Preparing to Sue Party Deputy Leader

On Oct. 15, Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (ADL or HRAK in Armenian) Executive Deputy Chair Harutyun Arakelyan held a congress for his political party at the Congress Hotel in Yerevan but has still not paid the fee (100,000 drams or approx. $259 USD) for renting the hall, reports local daily Hraparak.

According to the paper, hotel management is preparing to sue Arakelyan for the money owed. Arakelyan, apparently disgruntled with the matter, held the 20th congress on Nov. 20 at the “big hall” in his house; that is, in his living room.
