Armenia’s Military Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan, who was taken to Nairi Medical Center on the evening of Feb. 3 due to a sharp deterioration of his health, is still in hospital and will continue to remain under doctors’ supervision for some time.
Local daily Haykakan Jamanak (“Armenian Times”) yesterday tried to get comments from Nairi deputy director Siranush Martirosyan, who, hearing the question, hung up, reports the paper.
Ministry of Healthcare spokesperson Shushan Hunanyan, when asked about the same matter, said Kostanyan had fluctuations in his blood pressure, but his condition now is well. As for how long the military prosecutor would remain in hospital, Hunanyan didn’t say.
Another local daily, Hraparak, citing its sources in the Ministry of Healthcare as well as the hospital, reported that, in truth, the military prosecutor had a stroke.
