Protesters staging a nonstop sit-in against the hike in Armenian electricity prices on Yerevan’s central Baghramyan Avenue are distributing leaflets with the following contents:
“Round-the-clock sit-in on Baghramyan Avenue continues; however, the number of people decreases every day, nullifying the achievements of the previous days.
“None of the demonstrators' demands has been fulfilled.
“Our society's future is being decided today on Baghramyan, and it should be decided by the society. You should be the real decision-maker! To linger, to waver or to remain indifferent would mean losing out on the chance to have the deciding vote.
“Citizens with different views and different beliefs are presently exercising their right on Baghramyan Avenue: [demonstrators are creating] working groups dealing with different issues, they are organizing public discussions, special performances, and other cultural events.
“Join the public. Define your future.”
