Azerbaijan Reports of Civilian Death

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign affairs confirms the death of resident of Aghdam village of Tevouz region, Aziz Azetoghlu Azizov born in 1944.

Earlier Azerbaijan confirmed of 11 casualties among armed forces due to the recent escalation of the situation on the line of contact of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Armenia has reported of two casualties from the armed forces.

The situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush region escalated on July 12. The two sides blame each other for violating the ceasefire and escalating the war. Since July 13 civilian settlements are under shelling on both sides. Armenia reports of Chinar, Aygepar and Berd communities, while Azerbaijan reports of Dondar Gushchu, Alibeyli and Aghdam villages being under artillery fire.
