Gas Supply Infrastructure of 3 Villages in Tavush Hit

Gasprom Armenia will stop gas supply to Nerqin Karmaghbyur, Aygepar and part of Chinari village, due to the damage of the surface gas pipes supplying gas to the communities.

“Once the situation is stabilized, the company will repair the supply network and will resume gas supply to the villages.”

The situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush region escalated on July 12. The two sides blame each other for violating the ceasefire and escalating the war. Since July 13, civilian settlements have been under shelling on both sides. Armenia reports of Chinar, Aygepar and Berd communities, while Azerbaijan reports of Dondar Gushchu, Alibeyli and Aghdam villages being under artillery fire. There are casualties: Azerbaijan reports of 12 military and 1 civilian casualty, Armenia reports of 2 military casualties.
